Overview

They represent the most current mapping of the geology and faults of New Zealand at a scale of 1:250k and 1:1M.

Layers at the scale of 1:250k include: Structural measurements, resources, folds, dikes, horizons, faults, geological boundaries, geological units, textural boundaries, textural zones, metamorphic boundaries, simple metamorphic zones, and metamorphic zones.

Layers at the scale of 1:1M include: faults, geological boundaries, and geological units (as well as miscellaneous boundaries and polygons).
