Mario KrappEnvironmental Data Scientist
Biography
Mario is an environmental data scientist. He wants to understand how the climate system has worked in the past to better understand what is happening in the future. To do that he is developing machine learning approaches that combine observational data with numerical models to derive new insights into the inner workings of our planet's climate system. Mario is excited about technology, nature, and the universe. He is from Germany and has lived in the UK before coming to New Zealand in 2020.
