Rebecca FitzgeraldVolcanic Hazard and Risk Scientist
Biography
Becs is a volcanologist in the Volcanology Team. She has an interest in explosive eruption dynamics and the associated hazard, impacts and risk. Her research has focused on volcanic ballistic projectiles (VBP) and includes mapping impact fields, modelling particle transport and hazard through numerical and experimental methods, and assessing the hazard and risk from VBP to both people and the built environment.
