Natural Hazard and Resilience Platform Establishment PhaseEngagement Opportunities

The Natural Hazards and Resilience Platform is engaging with research users and researchers to co-develop the Platform Plan.
Background
The Platform's Establishment Phase project team initially engaged with key research users (in central and local government, iwi / Māori, infrastructure, insurance and other industry sectors) in late 2024 to co-develop the draft Outcomes Framework for the Platform. The Framework will guide the development of the Platform Plan.
Further engagement workshops with researchers are taking place in early 2025 to co-develop the research mission that underpins the Platform Plan.
A parallel engagement process is taking place involving the Resilience Challenge Māori researcher cohort, iwi and hapū collaborators, and the Iwi Chairs Forum. These wānanga are taking place in February and March 2025.
